Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology Assessment Center's mission is provide a comprehensive and professional testing environment to the campus and the community, the Testing Center is committed to maintaining compliance and adhering to the guidelines set forth by the National College Testing Association Professional Standards and Guidelines and strives to maintain the confidentiality of student records.

Why Choose the Assessment Center?

  • Convenient Hours: Open Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

Testing Services

ACT On Campus

  • Optional for admissions but available upon request.
  • Only for OSUIT and OSU system students.
  • Limited seating; call or email to schedule.

ACCUPLACER Placement Test

  • Walk-in testing available; no appointment needed.
  • Online testing options via Zoom.
  • $5 retest fee; remote testing arrangements available.

Advanced Standing Credit

  • Earn credit through tests like Business Math and Computer Literacy.
  • One attempt per test.

Scheduled Exams

  • ACT: $80 (limited seating, pre-registration required)
  • CLEP: $132 to CLEP + $35 admin fee
  • GED: $41 per test
  • Proctored Exams: $35 per exam for non-OSUIT students.

Scheduled Exams

  • Pearson VUE & Castle Worldwide: Schedule through their respective websites.
  • Radiation Safety Course (Oklahoma Dental Foundation): $35.

General Testing Guidelines

  • Bring Valid ID: Photo ID and a face mask are required.
  • Leave Personal Items Behind: No lockers available; bring only ID, keys, and a mask.
  • No Electronics: Turn off phones and devices (exceptions apply for ESL testing).
  • Authorized Materials Only: Notes and aids must be pre-approved.
  • Be On Time: Late arrivals may lose testing time.
