Students taking a residual ACT® Assessment must have an application on file before testing. Fees and dates are subject to change without prior notice.
Residual Testing may be conducted on the OSUIT campus for students who 1) are enrolled, 2) have been admitted, or 3) are applying to OSUIT and cannot take the ACT® on a regularly scheduled National test date or the National test date does not meet OSUIT’s deadlines. There is a 60-day waiting period between taking another Residual ACT®. Practice materials may be found at http://www.act.org.
Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education Policy
Beginning November 1, 2011, high school students may only take the ACT® Residual test once during the year in which the respective ACT® Residual examination is valid (August �" July) and the test date shall not coincide with a national ACT® test date. Scores will be cancelled and no refunds will be provided for violations of this policy.
Students may schedule a Residual ACT® test date by contacting the OSUIT Assessment Center at 918-293-5248. The cost is $60* which can be paid with cash, or money order. No personal checks. Dates are listed above; the test begins promptly at 8:30 a.m. Absolutely no one will be admitted to the testing room after the timed portion of the test has begun.
A picture ID is required for admission to the test. Examples are: current driver license, Military ID, passport, etc.
You may use a calculator on the ACT Mathematics Test. Acceptable calculators include: basic four function, scientific, or graphing calculators unless it has features described in the Prohibited list from ACT.
Only No. 2 pencils should be used for testing (no mechanical pencils or ink pens). No books or other materials will be allowed in the testing area. No food or drink allowed.
