Fall Graduation is December 22

Congratulations to OSUIT's 217th Graduating Class!

Fall Graduation events will take place in Covelle Hall at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Tuesday, December 22, 2020. Applications to participate in the ceremony are due no later than October 28.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, OSUIT has modified our celebration of graduates to deliver an event that holds the same traditions of pomp and circumstance with your safety and well-being in mind.

Commencement exercises, including the Nursing pinning event, will be held as private functions only with no guests; Covelle Hall will be closed to the public, and only graduating students and the platform party will be permitted entry. All ceremonies, however, will be streamed live and on demand so that friends and family may be able to see their graduate crossing the stage and share in that moment.

Please also know that there will be changes to the staging and processionals to enforce social distancing, such as spaced seating, and the requirement of facial coverings. Other contactless options will be integrated into the overall experience.

Applications for graduation are due no later than October 28. Your Academic Department will verify that all degree requirements have been satisfied. It is the student’s responsibility to make sure all graduation requirements are met prior to graduation. Visit our Steps to Graduation page for more information.
