Dually Bertholf graduated from Oklahoma State University in Stillwater in July 2000, with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources, majoring in Agricultural Education Professional Services and a minor in Animal Science. While working at Lowe’s Home Improvement in Stillwater, he completed a Master of Science in Agricultural Sciences and Natural Sciences, majoring in Agricultural Education, from Oklahoma State University in December 2005. He left Stillwater and taught sixth through twelfth grade Agricultural Sciences. He emphasized agricultural mechanics, including steel fabrication, carpentry, plumbing and electrical principles.
In 2007, he relocated back to Stillwater, Oklahoma, and worked at Lowe’s Home Improvement. At Lowe’s he was the Department Manager over Building Materials, Lumber, Millwork, Commercial Sales and the outdoor lumber yard. Some of the duties included helping contractors and DIY customers with their projects from start to finish. In December 2012, he completed the Wind Energy Technician in both levels I and II at Canadian Valley Technology Center in El Reno, Oklahoma. From there, he went to work at Mill Creek Lumber working with contractors and DIY customers with their projects from start to finish. He worked there until January 2014.
He graduated from the Construction Management program at Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. He was hired in September 2015 as an instructor in Construction Management program.
Darren Woodard is a graduate of Oklahoma State University College of Engineering, Architecture, and Technology. After receiving his Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, Darren moved to Dallas, Texas. There he worked for some of the biggest names in the industry, including Centex Construction (now Balfour Beatty, US), Byrne Construction, and Charter Builders (also now Balfour Beatty, US). In his 20+ year career, Darren has worked on nearly every type of vertical commercial construction from high-rise to healthcare and from federal government to private industry. Darren joined the OSUIT faculty in 2015. He also serves as the faculty advisor for the student club in construction management. Darren holds an Associate Constructor certification from the American Institute of Construction, is a LEED Accredited Professional from the US Green Building Council, and is an OSHA certified Outreach Trainer for the construction industry.
