The COVID-19 test is administered through an oral swab that will be processed at OSU-Center for Health Sciences.  The test given will only be able to detect a live COVID-19 virus and will only provide a positive or negative result, determining if you are actively carrying the virus. This is not a Test for Past Infection (Antibody Test), which reveals the detection of antibodies resulting from previous exposure to COVID-19.

We want you to know that the testing available is not mandatory but is an added benefit to our campus made possible by our partnership with OSU Medicine. These efforts will provide the additional data needed to continue making the best decisions in managing the virus’ impact in the coming months. Your assistance in this endeavor is greatly appreciated as this will also help school officials monitor and track the number of positive cases reported through the fall semester.
