Computer security, computer forensics, IT security and information assurance—they are all part of the rapidly expanding field of cybersecurity. The Cybersecurity & Digital Forensics program prepares students for the highly specialized work of protecting computers, computer systems and networks from various threats such as hackers, cyberterrorists, viruses and worms. The program further trains students to investigate the who, what, where, when and why of cyberattacks and cybercrimes. Admissions Requirements

Consideration for admission to the Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology program is based on the following requirements:

Both the Application for BT and the Background R&R form should be submitted to the School of Information Technologies the last semester of the student's AAS or the semester prior to beginning the BT in IT if an AAS or higher degree is already held.

As cyberattacks increase in frequency and sophistication, demand for cybersecurity professionals is projected to grow faster than most other occupations through 2024 (Bureau of Labor Statistics). To help you excel in this dynamic field, OSU Institute of Technology offers the Bachelor of Technology in Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics.
