OSUIT Workforce & Economic Development offers quality assurance training designed as non-credit, certificate, or short-term intensive courses of study.
An intensive course including training in lead auditor techniques, methodology, practices, and skills. It was designed and developed by a team who created and managed an accredited registrar. Team members who created this course are lead auditors and they have a complete knowledge of the essential skills needed by lead auditors. EXEMPLAR GLOBAL has established the Training Provider Examination Certification Scheme (TPECS), and this course is structured in accordance with TPECS. Pre-work is required for this course and is sent out to students one week before the course begins. Students are required to have this work completed before class begins.
A two-day course focusing on the ISO 9001, AS 9100, ISO 17025, ISO/TS 16949 or ISO 14001 Standards (specific course outlines are available for each course) and the ISO 19011 Auditing Guidelines to develop auditing skills. Emphasis is placed on auditing processes and the clauses found in the Standards. The theory of auditing is applied to practical auditing system exercises in a workshop format. All persons responsible for preparing and conducting internal or supplier audits (manufacturing or service organizations) should attend this course. (A course option is to perform an in-plant audit on the second day.) Our experienced trainer/auditor will provide participants insight into management system good practices and “pitfalls.” Audit practice exercises are used to maximize learning. Class size is limited to 20.
