What is Engineering Technology?

Engineering Technology focuses on the technical skills essential for careers in designing, maintaining, and improving electrical, mechanical, and automated systems across diverse industries. The program prepares students to tackle complex challenges in sectors like energy, manufacturing, healthcare, and beyond.

Why Engineering Technology?

Our Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Engineering Technologies provides a rigorous, hands-on education that builds both expertise and confidence. With a curriculum crafted by industry professionals, our students learn not just to understand technology but to innovate with it. OSUIT graduates are known for their resilience, critical thinking, and practical skills—qualities highly sought after by employers. Both program options are available to start in the Spring or Fall.
