OSUIT Celebrates 80 Years
Eighty years. One mission.
In 1946, Oklahoma A&M opened a technical training school in Okmulgee. Soldiers were just home from World War II. The idea was simple: hands-on instruction was how you built a career.
A few name changes later, that conviction still defines Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology. Students train on the same equipment industry leaders run on their own floors.
