Consideration for admission to the Nursing program is based on the following requirements:

- Submit a completed OSUIT Registered Nursing Program Application for Admission
Application Periods
Fall 2024 Entry (Traditional):February 1 to March 31, 2024
Summer 2024 Entry (LPN-RN):February 1 to March 31, 2024
Spring 2025 Entry: July 15 to August 31, 2024
Fall 2025 Entry: February 1 to March 31, 2025
Students are strongly encouraged to meet with a nursing advisor prior to application.
Once you application is received, you will be contacted by the nursing program to schedule your required nursing admission exams. Applicants will also need to ensure that official college transcripts from all previously attended colleges have been submitted to OSUIT prior to the application deadline.
All students declaring a nursing major are assigned to the Department of Nursing for advisement. Students may schedule an appointment to speak to a nursing advisor by calling 918-293-5337. Pre-Nursing students must see a nursing advisor before enrolling. Early pre-enrollment is encouraged.

Transfer Requests
Transfer requests are considered on a case by case basis following the policy below. Requests for transfer for fall semester must be received by May 1st of each calendar year. Requests for transfer for spring semester must be received by September 1st of each calendar year. Please contact the nursing office at 918-293-5337 for more information.
