Darren Woodard
Darren Woodard is a graduate of Oklahoma State University College of Engineering,
Architecture, and Technology. After receiving his Bachelor of Science in Construction
Management, Darren moved to Dallas, Texas. There he worked for some of the biggest
names in the industry, including Centex Construction (now Balfour Beatty, US), Byrne
Construction, and Charter Builders (also now Balfour Beatty, US). In his 20+ year
career, Darren has worked on nearly every type of vertical commercial construction
from high-rise to healthcare and from federal government to private industry. Darren
joined the OSUIT faculty in 2015. He also serves as the faculty advisor for the student
club in construction management. Darren holds an Associate Constructor certification
from the American Institute of Construction, is a LEED Accredited Professional from
the US Green Building Council, and is an OSHA certified Outreach Trainer for the construction
industry.
