Pre-Education is the foundation for students who aspire to inspire. This program equips
future educators with the essential coursework needed to excel in teaching careers
across early childhood, elementary, special education, or even middle and high school
subjects.

OSUIT’s Associate in Science in Pre-Education sets you on the path to becoming a teacher
in Oklahoma or beyond. With courses designed to build a strong knowledge base in math,
science, language arts, and behavioral sciences, you’ll be prepared to transfer seamlessly
into a four-year education program. Gain the tools to make a difference in the classroom

Earning your Pre-Education degree at OSUIT fulfills 60 of the 124 credit hours required
for a bachelor's in education. The program is designed to meet general education requirements
for certifications in early childhood, elementary, and special education.
