From the Farm to the Shop Floor
Cheyenne Tauss grew up on a farm in Pearland, Texas — fixing trucks and tractors alongside her dad before she ever thought about making it a career. Now she's completing her advanced coursework in OSUIT's CAT® Dealer Prep Program while interning at Mustang CAT in Houston, driving eight hours every two months to get there.
In this interview, Cheyenne talks about what drew her to diesel work, why she ended up at a university program she never expected to attend, and what it means to carry on something she built with her father.
Find Your People. Build Your Future. From intramural sports and campus events to our 20+ student organizations and professional associations, OSUIT gives you endless ways to get involved and make personal and professional connections that last a lifetime.
