Where are you from?

I am from Allen, Texas.

Why did you choose to attend OSUIT?

After transferring from another university in Oklahoma, I chose to attend OSUIT because the availability of a program that allows me to work toward my goal of one day owning my own custom car shop.

What is your program and why did you choose it? 

I'm in the Pro-Tech program, which provides me with the opportunity to work on more than just one brand of car. Our motto is: "Any car, anytime, anywhere!"

How can you Be True To You at OSUIT?

I think that this means getting the most out of your education here at OSUIT. The faculty are not just here to teach, they want to make sure their students actually get the most they can from this school.

How will you Be the One They Call?

I will Be the One They Call by being the person who is most qualified and dependable when it comes to working in the field. My instructors set a perfect example of this. Mr. Lasarsky and Mr. Reeves are always there when I have a question about anything, no matter what time it is.

What would you tell someone about OSUIT?

I'd tell them that OSUIT is a school that not only offers knowledgeable instructors, but also offers classes that are small enough that allow a great student-to-teacher ratio. Having teachers that care about my understanding and learning in the classroom means so much to me as a student who has had issues with learning in high school and two years at a previous college. Now, I find myself with all A's and a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.

Transferring to OSUIT is one of the best decisions I have ever made.
