Why did you choose to attend OSUIT?

OSUIT was recommended to me by my cousin Jared Rockman, a graduate of the Natural Gas Compression program. I have always heard great things about OSUIT and how it provides you with the skills you need to be successful in your chosen field.

What is your program, and why did you choose it? 

I am enrolled in the Natural Gas Compression program. Prior to OSUIT, I served in the U.S. Army as an infantryman (11B). I was stationed in Schofield Barracks, HI. I chose to attend OSUIT after my service because this school provides you with real-world training that will help you advance in your chosen field of work. Many people have told me great things about the programs they offer here at OSUIT.

How can you Be True To You at OSUIT?

Having core values is important. Loyalty, respect, honor and integrity are all things we should strive to obtain.

Have confidence in yourself. Don’t be afraid to be an individual. Your decisions and actions affect the way you see yourself.

How will you Be the One They Call?

Strive to be a subject matter expert in everything you do. If your peers, experienced employees and even some supervisors call you when there is an issue, that probably means you are reliable and have proven that you can handle difficult problems and situations.

What would you tell someone about OSUIT?

OSUIT will train you in your field. Your instructors will prepare you for the company that hires you due to the education you received from OSUIT. This university doesn't only teach you a trade; it helps you become a well-rounded person by also completing a variety of general education classes. You are able to leave here with a degree.
