Where are you from?

I’m From Cerro Gordo, Oklahoma, about 20 miles from Idabel.

Why did you choose to attend OSUIT?

I chose OSUIT because my sister went to school at OSU in Stillwater. I wanted to keep that tradition alive in our family but wanted to study High Voltage.

What is your program, and why did you choose it? 

My program is High Voltage and I chose it because I have always had an interest in electricity and have been on the electricity team in the past.

How can you Be True To You at OSUIT?

By being true to yourself. You’re not here to impress other students, you’re here to get an education and better yourself. But also, don’t be afraid to lend a helping hand.

How will you Be the One They Call?

You have to want to try your hardest and be the best in your class. Do your job without being told to and ultimately, be the one that a company wants to hire! Always give 100 percent!

What would you tell someone about OSUIT?

OSUIT has an outstanding staff and High Voltage Lineman program. They go out of their way to make sure that you know what is going on and why you are doing what you are doing. You will learn so much from instructors who have been in the line of work that you are pursuing.
