OSU Institute of Technology has been recognized in the newest Military Times 2023 “Best for Vets: Colleges” rankings.
Recognized as No. 3 in the Career and Technical Colleges category and No. 12 in the Southwest region, OSUIT stays true to its military roots as a top institution with supportive services for our military-affiliated students.
At OSUIT, veteran students and their dependents can enroll using their G.I. Bill benefits to pursue their associate's or bachelor’s degrees. The Veteran Services office specializes in handling educational benefits provided by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, with a streamlined process for military students.
“Being in the military isn’t just a job. It requires sacrifice and commitment,” said Summer Farrimond, veteran service coordinator at OSUIT. “These individuals willingly put themselves in challenging situations, mentally and physically, often with low pay and the awareness that their lives could be at risk. I believe that dedication deserves respect and only the best support and services in return. At OSUIT, we provide just that.”
Military Times Best for Vets: Colleges is the largest and most comprehensive annual ranking of schools for military service members and veterans.
