The OSU Institute of Technology Office of Marketing & Communications received eight awards at the annual Oklahoma Colleges Public Relations Association Awards ceremony on July 11.

“I couldn’t be more proud of our Marketing & Communications team and their accomplishments this year,” said Lindsay Lynch, director of Marketing & Communications. “Our purpose is to reach students so they can learn about how unique OSUIT is while stewarding the brand and these awards are confirmation we are producing high-quality work.”

The OCPRA Awards recognize the best in contemporary communications from educational institutions -- both public and private -- throughout the State of Oklahoma. This annual competition was created in 1992 by the OCPRA to reward achievement, recognize excellence and encourage a healthy competitive spirit by those who represent higher education to the public. Materials are submitted by individuals who work in public relations, sports information, video, development or alumni affairs at any of the state’s higher education institutions. Entrants are not required to be members of OCPRA.

This year’s awards ceremony accepted entries from projects completed from June 2021 through May 2022. All category entries were judged by a panel of two experts in their respective fields, who are not members of the Oklahoma College & University Public Relations, and scores were combined to calculate the winners.
