The awardees were chosen based on nominations from their peers, who acknowledged their remarkable efforts and contributions as worthy of recognition.

For nearly ten years, Smith has taught students on OSUIT's campus and helped prepare them for a successful oil and gas industry career.
"The inspiration behind my dedication at OSUIT is undeniably the students," said Smith. "Having the privilege to recruit a student, then witnessing their journey through their chosen program, and ultimately seeing them graduate and build successful careers and families – that's the real reward of our work."
Cook said it was an honor to be recognized amongst all the phenomenal and deserving nominees for her campus contributions.
"My fulfillment comes from supporting people and contributing to the OSUIT campus community, in sync with OSUIT's mission to nurture active committees," said Cook.
