Originally published in Tulsa World | Tulsa Community College and the Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology in Okmulgee signed an agreement Monday that will allow students to earn a bachelor of technology degree at TCC’s Northeast Campus.
The arrangement matches two-year TCC associate degree programs with corresponding four-year OSUIT programs in civil engineering technology, information assurance and forensics, and instrumentation engineering technology.
Students can take the first two years from TCC and the last two from OSUIT, but all OSUIT courses in the programs will be taught in Tulsa.
“Strong and effective partnerships between TCC and other higher education institutions enable our students to complete the first two years at a greatly reduced cost and finish their four-year degree close to home and work,” said TCC President Leigh Goodson.
