Adding, Dropping & Withdrawing
Adding a Course (After Enrollment)
- For Full Semester Courses:
- Log onto the my.okstate.edu portal and add the course, or
- Submit a completed Change of Enrollment Form to the Registrar's Office.
- For Short Courses:
- Submit a completed Change of Enrollment Form to the Registrar's Office.
Note: The last day to add a full semester course is within the first five days of the semester.
Dropping/Withdrawing from a Course
- For Full Semester Courses:
- Log onto the my.okstate.edu portal and drop/withdraw from the course, or
- Submit a completed Change of Enrollment Form to the Registrar's Office.
- For Short Courses:
- Submit a completed Change of Enrollment Form to the Registrar's Office.
Note: The last day to drop a full semester course with a full refund is the tenth day of the semester.
Change of Enrollment Form
Complete the Change of Enrollment Form and return it to the Registrar's Office in person, by mail, or by fax.
Withdrawing from School
Withdrawing from school means completely dropping all of your courses. To withdraw from OSU Institute of Technology:
- Log in to my.okstate.edu.
- Click on the Self-Service icon
- Click on the Student Tab
- This will take you to the your Student Profile
- Click the link that says Complete Withdrawal Request and fill out the form.
- It is recommended to contact the Bursar’s Office, Student Financial Services, Residential Life, Library, and your academic division office to complete the process.
Note: Failure to completely withdraw as per the institutes policy will result in permanent grades being awarded for all enrolled classes. The last dates to withdraw without academic penalties are listed in the catalog calendar for each semester.
