Hoopla is here!

Hoopla Logo

The platform is simple, intuitive, and free to our faculty, staff and students.

There are no holds or waiting for titles; all content on the platform is available instantly, 24/7, with a multi-genre collection of 700,000+ titles and growing!

Hoopla is constantly adding new content from a diverse group of big names in publishing and entertainment, such as PBS, The Great Courses, DC, Marvel, Acorn, A&E, and more.

Our patrons can take hoopla to the big screen using Roku, FireTV, AppleTV, or Android TV, as well as enjoy music and audiobooks with hoopla on Amazon Alexa.

To register, please visit the Apple or Google Play store and download the hoopla digital app, or visit the Hoopla website and select our library from the list.

  • Sign up by creating an account using an email and password of your choice.
  • Next, search for “OSU Institute of Technology” to choose as your library.
  • Enter your Okey short name for the Card Number and current O-Key password for the Pin Number, and click “Next”.

*When you reset your O-Key password, make sure you change it in the hoopla settings as well.

Interlibrary Loans

OSUIT’s interlibrary loan program, through the electronic database WorldCat, makes it convenient to request materials from other libraries.

Online Resources

A collection of databases covering OSUIT’s many programs have also been cataloged and verified, making online research more reliable than other Internet search engines.

A selection of electronic books is available to users as well as the list of more than 40 other higher education institutions across the state that participate in OK-Share, a program that allows OSUIT students to borrow materials from other colleges and universities after filling out an application.

University Archives

The OSUIT University Archives are also housed within the library. Find more information on our archives here.

Please come by and ask us about browsing our archival displays in our exhibit room. If you would like to explore the archives further please contact our archivist, Beth Kieffer, to schedule a research appointment by phone at 918-293-5078 or by email beth.kieffer@okstate.edu.
