Housing Contract Application Information

This guide on the steps will help you understand the application process.


The Process

     
Step 1 Get admitted to OSUIT!
  • Complete and submit your application for admission.
  • Once you have been accepted you’ll receive an OKEY account and university email address.
  • Once you have been fully admitted you can then move on to the next step.
Step 2 Apply for housing
  • The housing contract application is available year around.
  • Find a link to the Housing Contract on the OSUIT Residential Life website via Cowboy Housing.
  • Log in using your university email address and password.
  • You will be required to inform us of your expected starting Term. Along with how long you will need the room during the semester such as the full semester of 16 weeks, 1st 8 weeks, or 2nd 8 weeks.
Step 3 Deposit and register
  • Before you can be assigned a room or even move in, you must pay your Housing Deposit to OSUIT Bursar.
Step 4 Being assigned your room
  • Returning students get priority in being assigned a room before new students.
  • New students to housing will be assigned on a first come first serve basis according to completion of housing contract process and availability of spaces. The earlier you get done the better chance you may have in getting your preferences. So Don't Delay.
  • Assignments are typical sent out about a month prior to the start of a term. For new students they will receive both a physical mailing and an e-mail to their University e-mail.
