Transferring to OSUIT

A direct path to your academic finish line
OSU Institute of Technology serves as an advocate for continued education pathways for all students. We have set out to establish a series of agreements with partnering schools to provide seamless transfer of credits so that our graduates can transition easily into a field of study of their choice in pursuit of a bachelor’s degree.

Transfer Admission Requirements

Admission by Transfer

From State System Institutions:

  • Meet OSUIT's high school curricular requirements and academic performance standards.
  • Have a GPA that meets OSUIT's retention standards, based on at least 24 credit hours of graded college work

From Non-State System Institutions:

Meet OSUIT's entrance requirements.

Transcripts from colleges/universities accredited by the HLC or other regional associations are fully accepted.

  • Nonresident applicants must be in good standing at their current institution.
  • Transcripts from non-accredited institutions may be accepted if relevant to the student's degree program and validated by OSUIT.

For Students with Fewer Than 24 Credit Hours:

  • Submit an Application for Admission.
  • ACT/SAT scores are optional but requested.
  • Submit an official high school transcript.
  • Submit official college transcripts from all colleges attended.

For Students with 24 or More Credit Hours:

  • Submit an Application for Admission.
  • Submit official college transcripts from all colleges attended.

Continuing your path at OSU
OSUIT Bachelor of Technology graduates have a clearer pathway, and greater ease, to master’s degree programs in management information systems, telecommunications management, and engineering and technology management from OSU Stillwater, or OSU-Tulsa, via the Finish Orange OSU System Initiative.
