Our campus culture fosters a holistic student experience, and our academic advisors are dedicated to guiding you through your enrollment and academic journey. We encourage timely enrollment but also provide flexibility for those who need more time at the start of the semester.

Veterans

As a veteran, you have dedicated your life to serving your country. Now, at OSUIT, we are committed to serving you. Our institution is regularly recognized as Military Friendly, and we are dedicated to translating your military training into college credit, speeding up your path to a valued degree.

Our Office of Military and Veteran Services will support you by offering services such as processing VA education benefits. If you are seeking a place to connect with fellow veterans, check out our dedicated lounge in the Student Union.

For any questions, please contact Sommer Farrimond, Veteran Services Coordinator, at 918-293-4972 or by email at vetservices@okstate.edu.

PLA Accuplacer

At OSUIT, we understand that many of our prospective students come to us with a wealth of knowledge and experience in their chosen field of study. This experience should be recognized and rewarded, which is why we offer our Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) program.

Through this program, you are able to apply your relevant learning, work, and life experiences towards college credit. This means that you can save time and money by not having to take courses that you may have already mastered through your previous experiences. Our PLA program is designed to help you maximize your educational opportunities by recognizing the value of your prior learning, and we are proud to offer this option to our students. So if you have experience in your field, don't let that go to waste - take advantage of our PLA program and get the credit you deserve!

Transfer Information

OSUIT is an advocate for continued education pathways for all students. We have established a series of agreements with partnering schools to provide a seamless transfer of credits. This allows our graduates to transition easily into a field of study of their choice and pursue a college degree.
