Welcome to OSU Institute of Technology (OSUIT), where we offer career-focused degree programs designed to prepare students for real-world success. Our admissions process is inclusive and tailored to your unique journey, whether you're transitioning from high school, transferring, or arriving from an international destination.

We understand the importance of value and offer affordable tuition packages, as well as financial aid options and scholarships to support student success. Our campus culture fosters a holistic student experience, and our academic advisors are dedicated to guiding you through your enrollment and academic journey. We encourage timely enrollment but also provide flexibility for those who need more time at the start of the semester.

Join over 800 students in OSU Institute of Technology’s residence halls and be part of a thriving community that fosters both personal growth and academic success. Living on campus can significantly improve your academic performance, as proved by data from OSUIT showing that students who live on campus consistently achieve impressive GPAs. You will have access to the library, be embedded in a community, and immerse yourself in the campus culture. Our Residential Life team enriches this experience with ample amenities and activities, including dedicated lounge and study zones and exclusive streaming services for residents. The Wilson Commons is your go-to for pool games, Internet browsing, or simply unwinding with peers, while our on-site convenience store offers a range of delightful treats to keep you fueled for success.

PLA Accuplacer

At OSUIT, we understand that many of our prospective students come to us with a wealth of knowledge and experience in their chosen field of study. This experience should be recognized and rewarded, which is why we offer our Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) program.

Through this program, you are able to apply your relevant learning, work, and life experiences towards college credit. This means that you can save time and money by not having to take courses that you may have already mastered through your previous experiences. Our PLA program is designed to help you maximize your educational opportunities by recognizing the value of your prior learning, and we are proud to offer this option to our students. So if you have experience in your field, don't let that go to waste - take advantage of our PLA program and get the credit you deserve!

Transfer Information

OSUIT is an advocate for continued education pathways for all students. We have established a series of agreements with partnering schools to provide a seamless transfer of credits. This allows our graduates to transition easily into a field of study of their choice and pursue a college degree.
