Venture into a world of technology careers, for grades 8-10.
Students will apply math and science skills while participating in hands-on lab exercises in several different programs offered at OSUIT. Participants will have the opportunity to go "on the job" with culinary arts, engineering technologies, visual communications, nursing, automotive, allied health sciences, heavy equipment, construction, and air conditioning/refrigeration students. The academy is a residential academy, so students will experience college life living in a student dorm area. Students will arrive on campus on Sunday, June 5, and depart after lunch on Friday, June 10.
By applying math and science skills to innovative technology projects, campers will gain insight into all of these fields through hands-on experiences. Collaborate with college students on real-life projects. You’ll learn first-hand how a college degree can help realize your career goals.
